Peter Crouch, Thibaut Courtois, Dan Burn, and Fraser Forster are some of the tallest players ever in the Premier League.
The Austrian's start in the Premier League didn't go very well after signing the contract in the summer of 2022. Wolverhampton Wanderers presented a contract for five years to their tall striker in order to solve their problems with scoring goals. Instead, when Sasa Kalajdzic made his first appearance in September, he got a severe injury to his ACL that meant he couldn't play for the rest of the season. He had only played for 45 minutes with the Old Gold team before this happened. Now that he's back playing again, the 26-year-old has scored two goals in only 51 minutes of football in the 2023/24 season. Of course, with Hwang Hee-chan now playing very well, things are not going well for the big center forward, but there is still hope because there is time left.

Thibaut Courtois, a really good goalkeeper in the Premier League, became famous at Chelsea and is considered one of the best goalkeepers in today's football. He was very tall, which made him scary to other players. Even better, the Belgian player uses his height (which he still has while playing for Real Madrid) to his advantage. He is good at controlling the ball when it is kicked towards him during set pieces, and he makes it harder for opponents to score by reducing the angles that they can shoot from. Once he retires from playing, he will be considered one of the best alongside Manuel Neuer and Gianluigi Buffon, and it won't be just because he is tall.

Dan Burn, who was born and raised in Newcastle, is part of the tallest team in the Premier League. He has played a very important role in the success of Eddie Howe's team, especially in helping them qualify for the Champions League again. The person was happy to face the challenges and difficulties of playing English football. They had to go through periods of time at Darlington, Yeovil, and Wigan before finally getting an opportunity to play at the highest level. He used to play as a centre-back for most of his career, but then under Graham Potter's supervision at Brighton & Hove Albion, he started playing as a left-back. He has continued in this position since moving to Newcastle. He is a dangerous player in both attack and defense on the field. He excels at defending and is very composed when he has the ball.

Currently, Paul Onuachu is playing for Trabzonspor, a Turkish football team. He is a very tall player, standing at 201 cm. However, when he joined Southampton in January 2023, he did not perform well. He started playing for the Championship team in February but he didn't play as well as he did for Gent. Dean Jones, who knows a lot about transfers, said that Onuachu's situation in England was confusing. So far, the Nigerian player has only played in 11 Premier League games. But, he still has a lot more to offer and when he comes back, he will try his best to show his power and influence on the team. This will happen if the Saints succeed in quickly returning to the top league.

Often filling the majority of the goal with his large frame, Stefan Postma barely got the opportunity to do so in the Premier League. The now 47-year-old made just 11 league appearances for Aston Villa as he was limited to a bit-part role during his four-year stay at the club between 2002 and 2006. While failing to become the number one choice with the Villains, Postma opted to remain in the Midlands vicinity and join Wolverhampton Wanderers and enjoyed a 32-game season before being shipped off back to his native country of the Netherlands. The Dutchman also struggled to impress at international level and has just one cap, at U21 level, to his name.

Lars Leese used to be the tallest player in the Premier League during the late 90s. He played nine times for Barnsley. Coming in at a low cost of £250,000, the big goalie originally from Cologne was mostly seen as a substitute for the main goalkeepers at his clubs. Leese, who is now 54 years old, only played in 119 games during his 16 years as a football player, and he ended his career at the club he loved as he came back in 2003 for two more seasons. Leese is on the list even though he hasn't been in England for very long, and he is 201 cm tall.

Fraser Forster used to play for Tottenham Hotspur, but now he is not liked by the team. He played a total of 148 games in the Premier League for both Spurs and Southampton. During his career, the English player has had a hard time establishing himself as a regular starter at a top club. However, he had most of his success in Scotland with Celtic. He won four league titles and three Scottish Cup trophies while playing for Celtic. The 35-year-old goalkeeper in England's top football league hasn't had everything go perfectly, but he is still a good player and one of the tallest goalkeepers, standing at 201 cm tall.

Ian Feuer, who is mostly known for playing in lower leagues in England, briefly played as a goalkeeper for West Ham United in the Premier League during the 2000/01 season. He is one of the tallest goalkeepers to have played in the Premier League. The goalkeeper, who is 202 cm tall, was in east London from 1994 to 1996 but did not play any games. Feuer was born in Las Vegas. He retired in 2002 while playing for Wolves. He had one international cap in his career. Now, he coaches goalkeeping at Los Angeles in the MLS.

The 6ft 7in keeper appeared twice for the first team last season, keeping a clean sheet on an impressive debut against Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League. He also took part in the Carabao Cup victory against Norwich City at Emirates Stadium. In the past, Matt played for Accrington Stanley and Bristol Rovers as a temporary player. He also played for Luton Town for the second half of the 2016/17 season, where he didn't let any goals go into the net in four games out of the 11 he played. He is currently playing for Plymouth Argyle in League One on a loan.

Stefan Maierhofer joined Mick McCarthy at Wolves in 2009. He was a very tall player, standing at 202 cm. At the beginning of his career, he played for Bayern Munich in Bavaria. He then played for 23 different teams throughout his career. However, he is most well-known for being the tall player who played as a forward for Wolves in their famous gold uniform. The tall striker, who was 202 cm tall, ended his career during the summer at the age of 41. He played most of his games for Rapid Vienna (60) and is now a coach for Burgenland U18s.

Birmingham City's big player Nikola Zigic. Do you remember him. The Serbian forward moved from Valencia to a Premier League club in 2010 for about £6 million and scored in the League Cup final against Arsenal, helping the team win their first trophy since 1963. Zigic was good at scoring goals for Red Star Belgrade in football, but he didn't do well in England. Unfortunately for Zigic, his tall height only benefited the English top league for one season because Alex McLeish's team got demoted on the last day. However, he will always be remembered for helping Birmingham have one of their best days ever.

The man. The myth. The legend. Peter Crouch, thanks to his towering presence, leads the league's all-time charts for headed goals – but his skillset had much more to it than that. Much more than an outlet, the former Liverpool striker scored some absolute world-beaters during his time on the pitch but will largely be remembered for making those of an average height look tiny. Having earnt his corn at a plethora of English clubs, Crouch enjoyed a 467-game career at the highest of levels, scoring 106 goals and providing a further 68 assists in that sequence. An iconic figure of the sport.

Lacina Traore played in the Premier League with Everton for a very short time in 2013/14, but he still meets the requirements to be on the list. Actually, he got on the list at the last moment because someone else couldn't make it. He started his career as a young teenager with Cluj, and later moved to a Russian club called Anzhi. However, he never quite established himself in any team and is currently without a club. Instead, he became a journeyman and had difficult experiences at clubs like Monaco, Sporting Gijon, and Amiens. He did not perform as well as expected, even though he was considered a talented young player in the game Football Manager in 2012.

Costel Pantilimon is known for his time at Manchester City, where he mostly played as a backup for Joe Hart. He played in 54 games in the top English league for three different clubs: City, Sunderland, and Watford. He also joined Nottingham Forest in England, but he played in the lower division called the Championship. The goalkeeper, who is seen as one of the lucky players to have won a Premier League title, didn't get the opportunity he deserved in England. The Romania international, who is now 36 years old and retired, is very important to Premier League fans because he is the second-tallest player to ever play in the league.

The Dutchman, Kjell Scherpen, who is very tall at 206 cm, joined Brighton from Ajax in 2021. However, he only played in one game in the Premier League. Since then, he has played for KV Oostende and Vitesse as Brighton wants him to gain more experience in senior football. The young person, who now plays for Sturm Graz, has played in 18 games for his country's U21 team. He is considered one of the best goalkeepers to come out of his country in recent years. At only 23 years old, Scherpen has the opportunity to become well-known in England. But some people already recognize him because he is on this list. Don't forget the name.
